Below is the Cell phone operated robot project working. This can also be considered as the user manual of the project Mobile controlled Robot

The following settings should be done on 2 mobiles:

  1. First mobile should be connected to project. Settings: This phone should be in auto answer mode. This setting can be done in Headphone setting or Headset setting or in Enhancement settings.
  2. Second mobile is used to give commands. Settings: Turn on Keypad tones in this mobile. These tones are DTMF tones. Please note: in some mobiles glossy or beep settings are there, make sure you select DTMF tones.

Then You have to dial a call from the second mobile to the first mobile. The call will be received automatically due to auto-answer mode. You can press the keys once the call is received.

Following are the details of the keys and their respective functions:

  • Key 2 — Forward
  • Key 8 — Reverse
  • Key 4 — Left
  • Key 6 — Right
  • Key 5 — Stop
  • Key 1 — Left U turn (fast turn)
  • Key 3 — Right U turn (fast turn)
