Description of the project:

The GSM based industrial fault monitoring system project can be used in various Industries to monitor parameters like LPG gas leakage, Overheating (temperature), and Smoke. Users can get an SMS alert if any of these 3 parameters crosses the threshold level. Many accidents happen in industries due to ignorance of safety. SMS alert for Industrial fault detection provides the solution to this problem.

Description in detail:

It contains the following blocks

1. LPG Gas sensor: This acts as an LPG gas leakage detector with an SMS alert.
2. Temperature sensor: This acts as an Overheat detector using a temperature sensor.
3. Smoke sensor: This acts as a fire detector using the smoke sensor.
4. Analog to digital converter: ADC is required because the output of all sensors is in analog format. And 8051 Microcontroller can not read analog input.
5. Microcontroller: We have used an 89s51 Microcontroller from the 8051 series.
6. Relay: It acts as an output device. We can turn on any AC or DC device using a relay.
7. Buzzer: It gives an alert indication to the employees working in the industry.
8. GSM modem: It is used to send SMS alerts for any fault detected in the industry.

2) We can implement a GPS modem to send coordinates of the location where the fault is detected.
