Touch screen and SMS based door locking security system

Project Cost: 10,400

Project Code: 1702

Description:

This project is an extension of a Touchscreen based door security locking system. In this project, we have sent SMS for correct and wrong passwords. Touchscreen and SMS based door locking security system has industrial application and security systems application. This project sends alert messages to the owner or authority persons. The user needs to enter a password using a touch screen. We have provided a DC motor to show a demo of valid security access. The buzzer will be turned on for incorrect password.

Description in detail:

Various important blocks of the system are:

  1. Microcontroller
  2. Touch screen
  3. GSM modem
  4. LCD Display
  5. Motor Driver
  6. DC Motor: We have used DC motor to give demonstration of valid access for door lock security system.
  7. Buzzer: Microcontroller activates Piezoelectric buzzer whenever incorrect password is entered using touchscreen.

  • Is there a part in this project that prevents bystanders or kids from playing with the touch screen? It would be annoying if I receive alert messages because kids or bystanders are playing with it.
